What hive adoption is

A direct line from
hive to kitchen.

Every jar of supermarket honey is blended from dozens of unknown sources, heated to look clear, stripped of pollen. You have no idea where it's from.

When you adopt a hive at Čaklā Bite, one hive becomes yours for the season. You know its number. You follow its progress. At harvest, your honey arrives — raw, unfiltered, labelled with your name.

Honey that has
your name on it.

Every jar is hand-labelled with the adopter's name and hive number. It is not a gift. It is yours — because those bees worked your meadow all summer.

  • Unfiltered Pollen, enzymes, and micronutrients intact
  • Organic No treatments, no chemicals in or around the hives
  • Traceable Hive number on every label
The Čaklā Bite Honey apiary — hives at the edge of Latvian wildflower meadows
The farm

Čaklā Bite Honey.

Čaklā Bite — "The Busy Bee" in Latvian — is a family apiary in the Latvian countryside. The hives sit at the edge of wildflower meadows, far from industrial agriculture.

The beekeeper has kept bees without chemicals or treatments for over a decade. No foundation frames, no antibiotics, no imported queens. Just bees, meadows, and patience.
